wXwNOW besteht als erstes deutsches Subscription Video on Demand Network für Pro Wrestling seit etwas über zwei Jahren. Seit dem 13.08.2016 bietet wXw die Möglichkeit, direkt am heimischen Endgerät die aktuellen Events, die wöchentlichen Ausgaben von wXw Shotgun, jede Menge Original Content Formate und das Archivmaterial zu schauen. wXw hat bereits über 1.350 Stunden eigenes Material 24/7 für Fans online bereit, vieles davon zweisprachig. "Gemeinsam mit Felix Kohlenberg habe ich in den letzten Monaten mit interessanten Partnern gesprochen und hier Promotions identifiziert, die aufgrund ihres Produktes und ihres Engagements zu wXwNOW passen. Unser Ziel ist, dem wXwNOW-Zuschauer ein breites Spektrum von Pro Wrestling zu geben, Wrestling aus verschiedenen Ländern mit verschiedenen Stilen." fügte Tassilo Jung, Head of Communications, hinzu.

Ab dem 01.10.2018 bieten wir euch auf wXwNOW folgende zusätzliche Ligen an:

- BODYSLAM! (DK) ist Pro Wrestling aus Dänemark, wir öffnen damit den Blick auf den skandinavischen Wrestlingmarkt, der häufig unter dem Radar ist. Die ersten Events sind WrestleFest 2, Turning the Tables, May 5th und Rabalderstraede.

- British Empire Wrestling (UK). BEW aus London hat seit Jahren einen überdurchschnittlich starken Fokus auf Women's Wrestling, war u.a. ein Partner für Stardoms Europa-Tour 2016 und hat mit dem International Grand Prix ein jährliches großes Damen-Turnier. Diesen zweitägigen IGP von 2017 sowie Britain’s Rising IV bieten wir ab dem 01.10. an.

- Combat Zone Wrestling (USA). Die Kultpromotion ist ein langjähriger Partner von wXw und hat mit Tournament of Death, Cage of Death und Best of the Best Meilensteine im Independent Wrestling gesetzt. Wir starten mit Best of the Best 17, Cage of Death 19 und Tournament of Death 2018.

- Next Step Wrestling (GER) ist Sachsens Pro Wrestling Liga. Wir arbeiten seit vielen Jahren eng mit der Wrestlingschule, die Alexander Wolfe mitgegründet hat und die uns Wrestler wie Ilja Dragunov und Laurance Roman gebracht hat, zusammen. In Dresden und im Umland ist Next Step längst Szenekult. Wir starten mit Hellway to Heaven und Homecoming.

- Smash Wrestling (CAN) bietet einen tollen Mix aus der lokalen Szene und weltweiten Top Namen. Wir starten mit SMASH x CZW (Toronto), SMASH x CZW (London) sowie The Northern 2018 Show 1 & 2.

- White Wolf Wrestling (ESP) ist Pro Wrestling aus Spanien. A-Kid und Adam Chase sind die Aushängeschilder der Madrider Promotion, die immer wieder interessante Independent Wrestling Namen auf ihren Cards hat. Wir starten mit Legade, Redencion, Genesis, Total Rumble 8 und Top 1.

- Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU) ist eine der Top-Damenligen in den USA und seit über zehn Jahren aktiv. Wir starten mit Breaking the Barrier 5, King & Queens of the Ring 2017 sowie der 10th Anniversary.

- Wrestlingkult (GER) ist unser direkter Nachbar und eine ebenfalls im Ruhrgebiet beheimatete Promotions, bei der ihr immer wieder aktuelle und vergangene wXw-Stars seht. Wir starten mit Wrestlingkult 1, 5 und 8.

"Sämtliche dieser Ligen werden (...) Neuveröffentlichungen direkt über wXwNOW zu releasen", erläutert Katja Pilz den Ablauf.

'Along with Felix Kohlenberg I have talked to interesting partners in the last couple of months. We have identified promotions that fit wXwNOW with their products and their goals. From October 1st on these promotions are added to wXwNOW:

- BODYSLAM! (Denmark), opening the eyes to the Scandinavian wrestling scene. Intial events are WrestleFest 2, Turning the Tables, May 5th and Rebalderstrade

- British Empire Wrestling (UK). This London-based outlet has a strong focus on women's wrestling. It has been part of Stardom's 2016 European tour and runs the yearly International Grand Prix for women only. Initial launch with IGP 2017 Day 1 + 2 and Britain’s Rising IV.

- Combat Zone Wrestling (USA). Tournament of Death, Cage of Death and Best of the Best are household namens in independent wrestling. Initial launch with Best of the Best 17, Cage of Death 19 and Tournament of Death 2018.

- Next Step Wrestling (Germany) is a promotion from Saxony with cult following in the area. Co-founded by Smackdown superstar Alexander Wolfe this wrestling school has given us the gift of Ilja Dragunov. Initial launch: Hellway to Heaven and Homecoming.

- Smash Wrestling (Canada) has an awesome mix of Canadian wrestlers and worldwide top name. First events added are Smash x CZW (Toronto + London), The Northern 2018 Show 1 & 2.

- White Wolf Wrestling (Spain) is a growing promotion out of Madrid, most famous for it's spearhead performers Adam Chase & A-Kid. La Triple W brings a lot of independent talent in as well. Initial launch with Legado, Redencion, Genesis, Total Rumble 8, Top 1.

- Women Superstars Uncensored (USA) is one of the bigger women's wrestling promotions in North America. Initial releases are Breaking the Barriers 5, King & Queens of the Ring 2017, 10th Anniversary Show.

- Wrestlingkult (Germany) is our direct neighbour in the Ruhr-area. They have a lot of current wXw wrestlers and wrestlers from our past in their roster. Initial launch is WrestlingKult 1, 5 & 8.

Katja Pilz elaborates on the process: 'All promotions will have a selection of their events online for their launch date of October 1st. Future releases will be added subsequently.'
